You can laze about and enjoy the calm, relaxing environment, or you could do a range of land and water activities. We have provided you with a list of activities available in the area.
If you are looking to be more adventurous, catch a Ferry to Nelson Bay and partake of the huge amount of activities and shopping on offer. The ferry no longer stops at Hawks Nest, so you have to go into Tea Gardens to catch it.
Kayaking
There are two main companies that offer kayak tours.
Ezy Kayaks set up directly opposite the house, so its the easier option.
Bushwalks
Surrounded by National Park, we have a range of walks for all levels. Visit this website for more information. The information centre is located right near the singing bridge, on the tea gardens side and has brochures.
Golf
A championship rated 18 hole course of 6079 metre of easy walking, within walking distance. A driving range that is family friendly is also available as well as a clubhouse, bistro and bar.

Located in Tea Gardens, next to the information centre.
Opposite the myall river waterfront in tea gardens.

The Myall Waterways are a fisherman’s delight offering River and Beach fishing all the year round. The newsagent and others supply bait and tackle.

You should obtain a beach access vehicle permit to access the beaches with your 4wd.
